We are so excited to have Lisa living with us for a month. We had planned on spending almost every day at the beach; imagine our surprise when the forecast showed a week of 60 degree temps. Even though it wasn't necessarily warm today and completely overcast, we still opted to head out to the beach for a couple hours. There is something so calming about sitting by (or running around) the coast. We packed lunches, beach toys, and towels and found a spot a little further down the beach from the Pier. We spent the afternoon chasing waves with Livi, relaxing (although bundled up) on the beach, and watching Olivia dig holes in the sand. Although, we didn't anticipate the sunburns that would result from our little beach adventure (Livi's part and my shoulders).
