Happy Halloween!

Crazy to think that a year ago our little Bug was only 9 days old! We had a blast with her this Halloween - she is quite the smart little girl - at only a year old, she totally mastered the whole trick or treating business: "Go up to door, wait for door to open, grab candy, sit on doorstep, eat candy, get up, go to next door." We are blessed to be in an amazing apartment complex with lots of little kids around Liv's age. One of the moms organized our trick or treat adventure last night - so fun to go around with a group to all of the designated doors! There were some darling costumes, but we must admit - our Bug was the cutest of them all! Aaron dressed up as the Joker, unfortunately we couldn't find his makeup...next year! And I was the lame mother that didn't quite get to putting together a costume. We look forward to next Halloween when we're actually able to decorate for the holiday and have our costumes put together! :) Happy Halloween everyone!

The California Ericksons :)
Look at her little coy face! Bug and her Joker Daddy.
Livi loved Mary Poppins. They were trick or treating buddies - the age difference didn't bother either of them.

Aren't these kids darling?! So many friends!!!

Waiting for candy! Livi always managed to find her way to the front.

I love this photo. I seriously have a good looking family!

I know, I know, a little blurry - but oh so cute. Olivia had to eat her candy along the way.
It's as though she knew her Daddy was going to eat it all when she got home!

This was heaven for Liv - free reign of the candy bowl. She grabbed handfuls,
and kept going back for more!

So this apartment wasn't participating in the whole trick or treat night - and Livi couldn't understand why we weren't knocking on the door! She decided to sit and wait.

Me and my girl! Her little pumpkin basket was SO HEAVY! I was surprised that she had insisted
on carrying it all evening!
Aww, love the pumpkin. No really, we're hugging the pumpkin.
We opted out of pumpkin carving this year, but these fun
Mr. Potato Head-like face pieces were fun. Livi loved his ears.

Happy Halloween! After the last of the trick or treaters went to bed, Olivia sat down on
our porch to finish off the candy bowl. :)
