A Day at the Santa Monica Beach with Gma Erickson

Debbie came the week after my Mom left to help me with more of my unpacking mess! :) We decided to take a day off on Thursday to celebrate the beautiful sunny weather (it had been overcast all week). We headed down to the Pier, and oh what fun we had! We discovered the Aquarium, a fabulous little Mexican food joint, the playground on the beach, and even a chess park! Olivia kept us laughing the entire afternoon. She definitely loves her new home.

This is the cutest little aquarium at the beginning of the Pier. Small, inexpensive and just right for a  little person! 

Of course she LOVED the touch pools.

Debbie treated me to some delicious Mexican food at a joint along the beach.

Yeah.....I pretty much laughed hysterically at this. Livi was sitting in the sand, and it suddenly occurred to her to lay down! She loved the feeling of the wet sand, and laid here quite awhile kicking her little feet.

What you do to one side, you gotta do to the other! No fear this child.
