Today was a fantastic day - family, food, and football! I absolutely love Thanksgiving. It's a time to reflect on the countless ways we have been blessed by our Heavenly Father. It's at our dinner table that Aaron begins the "Why I'm Grateful" conversation; today we both shared gratitude for Olivia, each other, our new home/job, and family. We look back at this past year and can't help but see the hand of God in our lives. We feel quite strongly that we are where we are supposed to be right now - it feels likes home, and we both feel the great potential this area has for us.
The dinner itself was a huge success - the food was absolutely delicious. The turkey took longer than expected, but was so moist and flavorful. The crockpot stuffing - quick, easy, divine. The rolls were light and a perfect fit for Mom's honey butter. The cranberry sauce was my best yet - this year I used half brown sugar and half white sugar - what a difference! The surprise highlight of the meal: the asparagus - amazing. The mashed pots and gravy were great as always. I am so grateful for my amazing Mom who taught me the essentials of the perfect Thanksgiving feast.
We started the day with the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and ended it with the 49'ers vs. Ravens game. We are both huge Niner fans, but we also love watching the Ravens - my favorite BYU player, Dennis Pitta plays for them - he had one amazing touchdown tonight!!! The rest of the day was filled with cooking, eating, Skyping with family, and playing with Olivia. Livi and I loved having Aaron home for the day; Livi is quite the Daddy's girl these days.
We thought often of our family and friends, and we hope that everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving as much as we did! Happy Thanksgiving!

| Daddy and Liv played with the blocks and watched football while Mommy cooked. |

| Liv loved seeing the Sesame Street float! She was quite the little dancer. |
