Olivia's First Time Swimming!

Today we took our little girl to our Sunset Pool for her FIRST swimming experience! She was decked out with a cute new suit, a swim hat, a Huggies Little Swimmers diaper, goggles from Grandma Laurie, sunscreen, and of course - pool toys! Livi LOVED kicking her little legs, splashing around, and getting dunked under the water! We would count 1-2-3, blow in her face, and go under. She was such a good sport - even when Daddy forgot to blow in her face and took her under! She didn't shed a single tear, and kept smiling. After about 45 minutes in the water, her little lips started turning blue, so we wrapped her up in her huge pool towel and sunbathed until she was toasty warm! I loved taking my girl swimming - it's a passion of mine - and after all the years of teaching other people's kids how to swim, it was fun to finally teach mine! (Well, at least play Motorboat, etc.)

I can't wait for more another day at the pool, hopefully with a little warmer temps!
