Chuck E Cheese - Will's 2nd Birthday Party

Not all birthdays can fall on a weekend, and some birthdays fall on Mondays when dads have to work instead of play. So we decided to party for Will's on Saturday at Chuck E Cheese. We went there for Olivia's 4th birthday and had a blast, so it was an easy decision to return. However - we quickly learned why going on a weekday like we'd been able to for Olivia's is so much better. This time we had to go to a different location (the closest one to us was completely booked and at full capacity), and although we found a table quickly and could enjoy the games we wanted to, it was very busy (unlike last time when we had the place to ourselves, literally). Nevertheless, the pizza was delicious (yes, I mean that), and we had a great time. Will and Olivia got one on one time with Chuck E., played games, and had the time of their lives...or at least of their weekend. Lala joined us for the party while Papa rested up to be able to join us for Monday's festivities. We were all exhausted by the end, and quite ready for the quiet of home...and some serious hand sanitizing.

Olivia had drawn a picture of herself for Chuck E. She rolled it up and tied it with a bow just for him!

When all was said and done, Will traded in most of the tickets we won for this little matchbox car set. He loved it!
