Olivia's First Dance Class: Ballet and Tap

My baby girl started dance today - she was an amazing ballerina! The first half of the class is ballet, the second half is tap. As much as she loved to sashay across the dance floor in her ballet slippers, she loved "tap tap tapping" even more. She was a little busy body, dancing here and there and everywhere, and coming to me after every new activity to tell me about it! Crazy girl, she can't hold still when there's music playing; but she sure loved following Teacher Angie around and doing everything she did, even if it was 5 minutes after instructions had been given. (sigh). Olivia is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She was the only little girl to go back to her teacher at the end of class to give her a hug and tell her thank you. Sweet little expressions of gratitude like that and seeing her smile of absolute joy during class filled ME with gratitude. So thankful we're able to encourage her to pursue her interests and dreams. I love you Livi Bug!

Will was not amused by dance class.

You just don't mess with a dancer's shoe. Although I love how happy Eve looks - she's on the run! :)
